The Trauma Specialist Psychologist provides comprehensive psychological assessment, intervention, and therapy to individuals affected by trauma, including but not limited to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, abuse, violence, disaster exposure, and grief. The psychologist applies evidence-based trauma-focused therapies to support recovery, resilience, and overall mental well-being.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Clinical Duties**:

- Conduct detailed psychological assessments and trauma evaluations using standardized measures and clinical interviews.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based trauma therapies (e.g., EMDR, TF-CBT, CPT, DBT, PE).
- Provide one-on-one, group, and/or family therapy sessions addressing trauma-related symptoms and co-occurring conditions (e.g., anxiety, depression, substance use).
- Deliver crisis intervention and stabilization services for clients in acute distress.
- Monitor client progress, document sessions, and maintain confidential clinical records in accordance with ethical and legal standards.

**Collaboration and Consultation**:

- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, social workers, case managers, and medical staff.
- Provide consultation and psychoeducation to other professionals, caregivers, and community partners about trauma-informed care.
- Participate in case conferences, supervision, and peer review to ensure high-quality clinical practice.

**Education and Prevention**:

- Facilitate workshops or training on trauma awareness, coping strategies, and resilience building.
- Promote trauma-informed practices within the organization or community settings.

**Research and Evaluation (if applicable)**:

- Contribute to program evaluation, data collection, and outcomes measurement.
- Stay updated on current trauma research and integrate new evidence into clinical practice.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- **Education**: Doctorate (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) or Master’s in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a related field.
- **Licensure**: Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Psychologist [or Clinical Therapist]
- **Experience**: Minimum of 2-5 years’ post-qualification experience providing trauma-focused therapy or working with trauma-exposed populations.
- **Training**: Formal training in evidence-based trauma interventions (e.g., EMDR, TF-CBT, CPT, PE, or similar).
- **Skills**:

- Strong clinical assessment and formulation abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Cultural sensitivity and trauma-informed approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Work Environment**:

- Office or clinical setting; may involve remote/telehealth sessions.
- May include occasional community outreach or fieldwork in post-crisis environments.
- Emotional resilience and capacity for self-care are essential due to exposure to trauma-related content.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

- Master's (preferred)

License/Certification:

- MPhil in clinical psychology (required)
