Patient Care Coordinator

**Role Overview**

The Patient Counsellor is the first point of contact for patients seeking treatment at Dr. Kamthe Piles Clinic. The role involves providing accurate information, guiding patients through their treatment journey, and offering emotional and procedural support at each stage—from OPD consultation to post-operative care. The counsellor also explains the clinic’s advanced technologies and the benefits of choosing Dr. Kamthe’s expertise for piles and anorectal treatments.

**Key Responsibilities1. OPD Interaction**
- Welcome and register patients for consultation.
- Understand the patient's complaints and brief them on the consultation process.
- Guide patients on waiting time, consultation schedule, and assist with documentation if needed.
- Explain consultation findings and the next steps, including diagnostic tests or procedures.

**2. Pre-IPD Counselling**
- Educate patients diagnosed with piles, fissures, fistulas, or related anorectal conditions about treatment options.
- Explain the surgical or non-surgical protocols recommended by the doctor.
- Share pre-treatment instructions, hospital admission process, consent forms, and documents required.
- Clarify queries regarding cost, stay duration, anesthesia, recovery, etc.
- Discuss insurance/TPA or finance-related processes, if applicable.

**3. Post-OPD & Follow-up Coordination**
- Coordinate follow-up appointments and communicate post-treatment care guidelines.
- Ensure patients understand medication schedules, dietary advice, and lifestyle changes post-procedure.
- Maintain follow-up call logs and ensure patients are recovering as expected.
- Address any concerns regarding wound care, complications, or re-visits.

**4. Patient Looking for Treatment (Inbound & Outbound)**
- Attend to walk-ins, phone calls, and online queries from patients seeking treatment.
- Provide a detailed explanation of the disease, symptoms, complications if left untreated.
- Share benefits of early intervention and how Dr. Kamthe's clinic ensures mínimally invasive and pain-free treatment.

**5. Facility & Treatment Advantage Explanation**
- Clearly communicate key USPs of **Dr. Kamthe Piles Clinic**, such as:

- Advanced laser treatments for piles, fissure, and fistula.
- Day-care procedures with faster recovery.
- Experienced team led by Dr. Kamthe with high success rates.
- Hygienic, modern, and fully-equipped operation theater and recovery rooms.
- Personalized care and compassionate staff.
- No cuts, no stitches options with quick return to daily activities.
- Use testimonials, videos, or brochures to support information sharing.

**6. Documentation & CRM Management**
- Update and maintain records of patient inquiries, follow-up schedules, procedure details.
- Generate reports on patient flow, conversion rates, and missed follow-ups.
- Ensure confidentiality of patient information as per hospital policy.

**Skills & Qualities Required**
- Strong communication and listening skills (English, Hindi, Marathi preferred).
- Empathetic and patient-centered approach.
- Ability to simplify medical terms for patient understanding.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM or hospital software.
- Confidence in handling objections or hesitations.
- Organized, proactive, and service-oriented.

**Qualification & Experience**
- Graduate in any stream (Preferably in Life Sciences, Psychology, or Social Work).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in healthcare counselling or hospital OPD roles.
- Fresher with good communication skills and medical understanding may also apply.

Pay: ₹11,453.08 - ₹20,000.00 per month
