We are looking for an **Accounting Supervisor **to join our Accounting & Taxation team in India

**Responsibilities**

LI-KL1 #LI-Onsite
- Responsible for all the Accounting and Taxation functions of the Company in Mumbai
- Responsible for the monthly closing, yearly closing, audit, and oversight
- Responsible for required statutory compliances including Direct and Indirect Taxes

**Key Activities**
- Overview of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Banking and reconciliation
- Financial preparation, reporting and analysis - monthly, quarterly, and annually
- Maintaining monthly and quarterly reconciliations
- Cash flow reports and projections
- Preparation of GST returns and reconciliations with accounts
- Working on withholding tax liabilities and preparing returns
- Maintaining Customer & Vendor relations
- Government liaison (collating and replying to notices\queries) on all taxation or FEMA issues.
- Assisting and leading the required Audits applicable to the company - Statutory, GST, Tax and Transfer Pricing)
- Oversight of IT system

**Functional Requirements**
- Semi Qualified Chartered Accountant
- or Relevant Degree in Commerce\Finance
- Preferably 3-7 years experience in the areas of Finance / Accounting / Taxation with a reputed corporation (preferably an MNC)
- Experienced in the use of accounting and consolidation software (ERP preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to meet deadlines, promote cost savings and make recommendations for system and process improvements
- Team Player, willing to develop and guide others
- Ethically strong
