Job Title: Junior Data Scientist
Division Group Data and Analytics
Location: Bangalore, Hybrid
Purpose of Role:
- As a junior data scientist, you will work on various data projects that support our business objectives and enhance our customer experience.
- You will collaborate with senior data scientists, data engineers, and business stakeholders to understand the data needs, perform data analysis, and build data products.
- You will also contribute to the development and maintenance of our data infrastructure, pipelines, and frameworks.
- Members will be involved in various stages of algorithm development from research to production, which includes AI model development for embedded, real-time, edge and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform data collection, cleaning, processing, and analysis using various tools and techniques.
- Communicate and present data findings and recommendations to stakeholders and clients.
- Research and learn new data technologies and best practices.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or higher degree in Computer science, statistics, mathematics, engineering, or a related field.
- At least one year of experience in data science, analytics, or a similar role.
- Proficient in Python, SQL, and other programming languages for data analysis and manipulation.
- Familiar with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiar with common data science libraries, such as pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, pytorch etc.
- Knowledge of statistical and machine learning techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, natural language processing, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and curiosity.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
