**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive science lessons, covering topics such as plants, animals, human body, air, water, and basic environmental science.
- Use child-friendly experiments, visual aids, and hands-on activities to explain scientific concepts in an easy-to-understand way.
- Foster students’ interest in science by encouraging inquiry, exploration, and critical thinking through activities, group discussions, and science projects.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of all students.
- Assess student progress regularly through quizzes, assignments, projects, and observation, and provide constructive feedback.
- Promote environmental awareness and responsible habits among students through discussions on conservation and sustainability.
- Collaborate with colleagues on school events and science fairs to encourage experiential learning.
- Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school activities.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching science at the primary school level is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of primary-level science concepts and effective teaching methods.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Passion for teaching and engaging young students in hands-on learning.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and technology to enhance science learning.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with inquiry-based learning and hands-on science teaching.
- Creative and resourceful in using materials to demonstrate scientific concepts.
- Ability to inspire curiosity and a love for science in young learners.
