**Profile Introduction:

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping staff, managing daily cleaning operations, and maintaining cleanliness standards within the facility. This role ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests or residents.

**1. Staff Supervision**:

- Supervise, train, and schedule housekeeping staff, including room attendants, cleaners, and janitors.

**2. Quality Control**:

- Inspect and evaluate the cleanliness and maintenance of rooms, common areas, and facilities to ensure they meet established standards.

**3. Inventory Management**:

- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and order additional items as needed.

**4. Reporting**:

- Document and report maintenance issues, damages, and cleaning needs to the maintenance or facilities department.

**5. Training**:

- Provide training to housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and proper use of cleaning equipment.

**6. Safety Compliance**:

- Ensure that all housekeeping activities comply with safety and health regulations.
- Promote safe work practices among staff.

**7. Guest or Resident Services**:

- Address guest or resident requests and concerns promptly and professionally.

**8. Budget Management**:

- Assist in controlling housekeeping labor and operational costs within the allocated budget.

**9. Environmental Initiatives**:

- Implement and monitor environmentally-friendly cleaning practices and procedures.

**10. Communication**:

- Maintain effective communication with other departments, such as maintenance, front desk, and management, to coordinate cleaning activities and respond to special requests.
