Responsibility & activities:
- Encourage and assist your teams to establish predictable and sustainable delivery of features and products.
- Establish clear communication channels between Stakeholders, the team, and the Product Manager.
- Work effectively with Product Managers to ensure the product backlog vision is clear and is refined into concise stories and Product Backlog Items.
- Facilitate the Scrum events, document key squad resolutions, and remove impediments that get in your team's way.
- Promote and establish self-organization, continuous learning, and continual improvement.
- Teach in a clear way why some methods are relevant instead of others and ensure that they will be understood by team members.
- Transfer agile knowledge and experience to the team.
- Be responsible for avoid impediments, eliminate waste, managing the process, managing the team’s health, the boundaries of self-organization, and the culture.
- Remove impediment: solving blocking issues to the team’s progress, taking into account the self-organization capabilities of the Development Team.
- Be a change-agent, enabling a culture in which Scrum Teams can flourish.
**Requirements**:
**Tech skill**:
- Experience in a scrum master role.
- Experience in working with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests.
- Familiarity with software development.
- Excellent knowledge of Scrum frameworks, with all its techniques and artifacts (such as definition of Epic, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement).
- Experience in Managing each project’s scope and timeline.
- Experience in coordinating sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups.
- Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks.
- Knowledge of Gitlab or similar (e.g. Jira).
- Fluency in English, written and spoken.
- Experience in international companies, with team located in different countries extra EU.
- Scrum master certification is a plus.
- Degree in Computer Science, Business or similar field.
**Soft skill**
