Senior Faculty - Statistician

Overview:
We are seeking a highly capable statistician to analyse quantitative data for the education research

The job requires taking responsibility for collecting, processing, and performing statistical analysis on data sets to support research outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Analysing data using special tools (SPSS most required, Python, R) and statistical software.
- Performing statistical analysis and data modelling to identify trends, patterns, and relationships in the data.
- Interpreting data and presenting findings in a clear and concise manner as required for the research
- Suggesting statistical analysis for analysing different types of data.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as research, field work, outreach, etc to support data-driven decision making.
- Developing and implementing data quality control processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of data analysis, such as machine learning and artificial intelligence.
- Keen attention to detail and excellent record keeping skills
- Providing training and support to stakeholders to help them understand and use data effectively.

Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in science, mathematics, statistics or related fields. Master's degree in statistics
- Proficiency in statistical software programs, including SPSS and R
- Handson experience in using analysis tools
- Good logical skills and interpersonal skills

Preferred
- 2 years experience working as a statistician or in similar role
