Vacha has opening in Mumbai for the post of Field Coordinator to execute youth empowerment programme in bastis of Mumbai.

Field Coordinator:
The post is open for
- Women with M.S.W, M.A. Education, M.A. Women’s Studies or equivalent qualification in social field.
- 2 to 3 years’ experience of working with girls, education, community work.
- Should have knowledge and practice of working on MS Office on computer.
- Willing to work closely in field and make regular visits to community.
- Believe in rights-based approach and especially women’s rights.
- Ready to extend herself and bring in new ideas and drive to make a difference.

She will be responsible for:

- Coordinating field level program activities with youth.
- Developing short term goals of the programme.
- Networking
- participating in community-based networks.
- Identifying needs at the grassroots and respond by developing appropriate programme strategies.
- Conduct project level training session in consultation of the project coordinators.
- Liaison with government officials, people’s representatives, etc. as per the project requirments.
- Independent impact-based field report writing.
- Identify emerging issues that need to be researched and coordinate field
- related data collection.
- Supervision of ongoing programmatic activities in the field.
- Process documentation of programme activities.
- Assisting in proposal and program design as well as the program related administrative tasks.
