We are looking to hire an Technology Associate - GDC Powders in our Home Care team based in Bangalore:
Business Context

Home Care has articulated its clean Future vision wherein we aim to completely transform our formulation to materials which are fully renewable or from a recycled source and fully biodegradable by 2030. Contribution of Powders business to Clean Future agenda and the margin ambitions is pivotal to the vision and growth of Home Care. Under the current circumstance of high inflation on key raw materials (LAS and Soda) and extreme supply crunch on some of the replacement actives, we need to accelerate innovation of weight efficient actives in the area of cleaning and sensorials to ensure we have material resilience for our innovation / savings funnel.

Role Definition

The incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing robust technologies that are aligned to our Clean Future and margin ambitions.

Towards this, she/he will
- Carry out experiments in laboratory and pilot plant to identify and demonstrate feasibility of technology.
- Work closely within GDC/cluster teams to progress technology to relevant markets with due diligence on quality and robustness.
- Work seamlessly with internal (SEAC, processing) and external (suppliers) interfaces as required.

Skills and Competencies
- Technical education: Chemical Engineering (B Tech) or MSc (Chemistry)
- Collaborative mindset to work with Global and Regional teams.
- Pro-active and Dynamic in response to challenges
- Willingness to embrace Digital ways of working (use of models, Digital tools)
- Effective communication skills
