Oracle Dba

Looking for a dedicated and skilled Database Administrator (DBA) with 2 years of experience to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the management, optimization, and maintenance of our database systems, ensuring their reliability, availability, and performance. You will work closely with developers, IT teams, and other departments to ensure the smooth operation of our database infrastructure. Flexibility to work across various shifts, including nights and weekends, is required.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Database Administration: Administer, maintain, and support database systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, etc).
- Database Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize database performance, identifying and resolving performance issues related to queries, indexing, and storage.
- Backup & Recovery: Implement and manage database backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
- Database Security: Implement security best practices, including setting up user roles, permissions, and data encryption to protect sensitive data.
- Incident Management: Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, ensuring mínimal downtime and optimal database performance.
- Database Monitoring: Regularly monitor database performance and system health, making adjustments as necessary to ensure high availability.
- SQL Query Optimization: Write, review, and optimize SQL queries for efficiency, including stored procedures and triggers.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation on database configuration, procedures, and processes for troubleshooting and training.
- Automation: Automate routine database tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

**Requirements**:

- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) or in a similar database management role.

**- Technical Skills**:

- Experience with relational database systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL,.
- Proficient in SQL for writing complex queries and managing database performance.
- Experience with backup and recovery strategies for databases.
- Knowledge of database security and access controls.
- Basic knowledge in Linux Operating System.
- Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve database issues.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail in maintaining database integrity, security, and performance.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and document database processes.
- Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on operational needs.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with cloud databases (e.g., Oracle, Azure SQL Database).
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, Couchbase).
- Experience with database clustering, replication, and high availability solutions.
- Certifications such as Oracle Certified DBA, Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), or equivalent.
- Knowledge of database replication, clustering, and high availability solutions.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,300,000.00 per year
