Cloud DBA:

- BE/Btech/equivalent Degree with relevant experience of 3 to 5 years is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills
- 3-5 years of Core DBA Skills across one or more core database flavours (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL or NOSQL equivalents) on cloud
- Database Installation, Configuration and Patching
- Backup and Recovery, Data Import/Export Technologies
- Automation
- Database Performance Tuning
- Monitoring Platforms
- Problem diagnoses, manageability and operations

Preferred Skills:

- Minimum of 3 years of Experience in a cloud environment (AWS preferred)
- Cloud solutioning for Data Replication, Database Security, Encryption, Compression and Data Masking/Redaction
- Experience in Migration and Consolidation of On-Prem to Cloud footprint
- High Availability, MAA and Disaster Recovery and replication
- Very large databases and in-memory database solutions
- Data replication software (GoldenGate, kafka etc)
- A cloud certification (such as AWS / GCP cloud certification) is highly desirable
