**Job Location**: Bangalore (Work from office)

**About the role**

Designers at dashtoon are an inherent part of a heterogeneous group of veteran techies, product managers, and research engineers passionate about spreading the reach of illustrated storytelling.

In this role, you are expected to build an intuition of the product and design an extensive language on which all experiences will be based.

**Your Part**
- Build intuition of the product as a whole
- Gather requirements, derive problem statements, and plan design engagements
- Research to understand real-world practices and usage behaviors
- Present design propositions and solutions to stakeholders using wireframes, mock-ups, or high-fidelity prototypes
- Receive feedback, advocate for best practices, and iterate
- Interpret the solution onto an interface using the principles of digital psychology, visual design, and interaction design for web or/and mobile
- Create functions and features and formulate optimized task flows
- Analyse findings, and derive actionable insights from research
- Decipher usage patterns with the help of analytics and iterate design to be more efficient
- Solve business problems and cater to user needs
- Cultivate efficient frameworks and practices for the enrichment of the team and contribute to the improvement of the design system

**Mandatory Skills**
- Experienced and well-versed in conducting different methods of research and usability testing
- Good knowledge and understanding of design principles, interaction design standards, and UI patterns for web and mobile
- In-depth understanding of the elements of a design system and the capacity to create one
- Great aptitude for solving complex business problems

**Good to have skills**
- Design Specialisations - Illustration, motion design, graphic design, data visualization, service design.
- Domain Specialisations - Content B2C Apps

Interview Process (Not necessarily in this order)

30-40 minute calls with the 3 founders.

1-hour call with the product lead.

Evaluation assignment and/or Product Design Portfolio Review.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: Up to ₹3,500,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
