**Your Role and Responsibilities**
- Responsible for managing the customers backup infrastructure using various backup tools like Veritas Netbackup,, VEEAM Backup and Replication ,Data Domain, Veritas Appliance, OPSCENTER, and VTLs
- Deploying various backup software and building new backup servers as per the predefined design of the architect
- Performing the post implementation checks for the newly built backup servers and provide basic KT of the backup product.
- Managing the daily customer review SLA compliance calls pertaining to the backup recovery operations.
- Performing the daily health check for all backup tools, tape libraries, data domains and all other backup infra components.
- Complete tape management in the backup environment including tape offsetting and recalling them from third party vendors as required.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- 6+ years of experiencewith Storage in an administrative role for a medium to large organization
Relevant NetApp, EMC certifications (NCDA)
- knowledge about NetApp storage solutions (ONTAP (cDOT), StorageGRID, SnapCenter, NetApp TRs, OCUM, Harvest/Grafana, SnapLock).
- NAS, files systems, NFS, autofs, iSCSI, SAN, iSCSI, backup, Switch knowledge
- Creating backup scripts for user backup for UNIX and Windows servers
- Coordinate with Vendor for software and Hardware patches/updates/break fix. etc.
- Preparing the Implementation plan for change Request and implementing the request

**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with remote, matrixed teams
- Ability to work effectively in a team, and with client.

Bachelor's Degree

Master's Degree
