**Responsibilities**:

- Advanced knowledge in at multiple of Clearwater’s productivity software offerings (Okta, Jira, Confluence, Zoom, etc.)
- Intermediate to advanced scripting abilities
- Deep understanding of Jira and Confluence administration.
- Able to evaluate and identify issues to improve the existing systems.
- Implement systems automation as required for better efficiency.
- Able to use provided tools to build, maintain, troubleshoot, and solve system related issues
- Intermediate knowledge of cloud computing (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Able to identify pain points and make recommendations based on stability, operability, portability, security, and scalability of system architecture.
- Requires little to no supervision to work on daily tickets and tasks.
- Shows initiative and creative thinking.
- Works closely with teammates and other teams to find productivity solutions.
- Able to Identify quality and reliability issues in systems the team maintains and contribute to finding the solution
- Willingness and ability to do what it takes to achieve objectives, including off-hours support to tasks
- Ability to own projects and see them to completion
- Assists in definition, documentation, and evolution of best practices for system installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and monitoring
- Provides training and mentoring for multiple team members
- Sets a positive example throughout the company for quality and responsibility

**Requirements**:

- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Linux command line experience
- Experience with at least one scripting language (Python, Perl, Bash, or Ruby)
- Knowledge of core networking concepts and technologies (i.e. IP addressing, DNS, TCP/UDP, etc.)
- Proficient with ‘nix command line utilities (grep, sed, awk, vi, cat, tail, head)
- Proficient with SSH concepts (remote command execution, password less SSH, setting up ssh on new machines)
- Experience using one or more of the following: Puppet, Apache Web Server, Apache Tomcat, Subversion, Continuous Integration Servers, Wiki Administration, Trouble Ticket/Work tracking systems
- Basic SQL query writing skills
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with Release Management and Java Maven a plus
- Expected to own projects and see them through to completion.
- Provide training and mentoring for multiple team members.
- Set a positive example throughout the department for quality and responsibility

Desired Experience or Skills:

- Windows O365, Azure AD, Exchange, Okta, MDM
- Intermediate knowledge of cloud computing (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Understanding of Atlassian product administration and configuration
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting.
