**Job Title: System Administrator**

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 7-8 years of relevant experience in system administration.
- Proficient in Wintel (Windows Server) administration.
- Strong expertise in virtualization platforms, such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Experience in managing server infrastructure and Active Directory.
- Knowledge of backup and recovery solutions.
- Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSA, VCP) would be an advantage.

**Responsibilities**:
**Wintel Administration**:

- Manage and administer Windows-based servers and systems.
- Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows operating systems.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal server operation.
- Implement security measures and ensure compliance with organizational policies.

**Virtualization**:

- Administer virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Create and manage virtual machines, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Implement backup and recovery strategies for virtualized environments.
- Troubleshoot virtualization-related issues and optimize performance.

**Cloud Technology**:

- Configure and manage cloud services on platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Implement and optimize cloud-based solutions for scalability and performance.
- Administer Microsoft Intune for endpoint management and security.

**Server Infrastructure**:

- Maintain and upgrade server hardware and software components.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and firmware upgrades.
- Monitor server logs and proactively address potential issues.
- Collaborate with the network team to ensure seamless connectivity.

**DNS Server Management**:

- Administer DNS infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and resolution.
- Troubleshoot and resolve DNS-related issues.
- Implement DNS security measures to protect against attacks.

**Active Directory Management**:

- Manage and maintain Active Directory infrastructure.
- Create and manage user accounts, groups, and group policies.
- Implement and enforce security policies within the Active Directory environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Active Directory-related issues.

**Backup and Recovery**:

- Implement and manage backup solutions for critical systems and data.
- Conduct regular data backups and ensure the availability of recovery processes.
- Test and validate backup and recovery procedures periodically.

**Security Compliance**:

- Enforce security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments.
- Implement security patches and updates in a timely manner.

Proactive approach to system monitoring and maintenance.

Willingness to stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends.

**Salary**: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
