Costing Draughtsman

**Job Summary**:
The **Costing Draughtsman** is responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, quantity take-offs, and material details from design layouts to support the **costing and estimation process** for interior design projects. The role ensures that all drawings and BOQs are technically accurate, cost-effective, and aligned with design intent and project requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare detailed **2D drawings and layouts** for interior design projects using **AutoCAD** or similar software.
- Extract **measurements, quantities, and material details** from drawings for cost estimation.
- Prepare **BOQ (Bill of Quantities)** and assist in material costing.
- Coordinate with **designers, project engineers, and procurement** teams to ensure technical accuracy and feasibility.
- Update drawings as per **design revisions, client feedback, or site changes.**:

- Maintain a library of standard design elements, materials, and costing data for reference.
- Support the **Costing / Estimation team** by providing accurate drawing-based data for tenders and quotations.
- Ensure all drawings comply with **company standards and quality requirements.**:

- Assist in identifying **cost-saving design options or material substitutions.**

**Skills & Competencies**:

- Proficient in **AutoCAD**, SketchUp, or similar design tools.
- Strong understanding of **interior design drawings, joinery, furniture detailing, and material finishes.**:

- Knowledge of **BOQ preparation, measurement techniques, and cost estimation basics.**:

- Good analytical and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior drawings.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with **MS Excel** and other office tools for costing documentation.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- **Diploma / ITI** in Mechanical / Interior Drafting or equivalent.
- **2-5 years** of experience as a **Draughtsman in interior design**, preferably in costing or estimation roles.
- Experience with **retail, commercial, or residential interior projects** preferred.

**Work Location**: Bhiwandi

**Working Days**: Monday to Saturday

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
