Job Title Mechanical Draughtsman cum Estimation Engineer Department Design Engineering Location Insert Location Reporting To Design Project Engineering Manager Job Overview We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Draughtsman cum Estimation Engineer to join our engineering team The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed mechanical drawings 3D models and accurate cost estimations for fabrication manufacturing and project execution Key Responsibilities Prepare 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks or other CAD software Develop fabrication assembly and layout drawings as per project and client specifications Interpret technical drawings sketches and design data to create accurate and clear designs Perform material take-offs BOQ preparation and cost estimation for mechanical projects Work closely with design production and procurement teams to ensure technical and commercial accuracy Assist in quotation preparation and project costing for tenders or client inquiries Maintain and update drawing records documentation and revision history Support design engineers during design reviews fabrication and site implementation Ensure all designs comply with company standards safety norms and quality requirements Qualifications Experience Diploma Degree in Mechanical Engineering or draughtsman related field 2 to 5 years of experience in mechanical design drafting and estimation Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D 3D and SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software Strong knowledge of mechanical components fabrication and manufacturing processes Experience in cost estimation BOQ and material costing Good understanding of engineering standards tolerances and materials Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects Preferred Skills Experience in metal Wooden or fabrication design Knowledge of ERP systems costing methods or estimation tools Strong analytical communication and teamwork skills Job Type Full-time Pay 25 000 00 - 40 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Provident Fund Work Location In person
