REQUIREMENTS

Education / Experience
- Bachelor degree in Engineering / Science/Technology and Diploma in Industrial Safety.
- Minimum 1 to 4 years of relevant field, preferably in chemical industry

Generic

To assist in maintaining and strengthening the Industrial Hygiene management system and practices of Chemistry, Pharmaceuticals and PD functions at the Ankleshwar site. Particularly, focus on Occupational Health & Hygiene, Workplace safety, Integrated HSE Practices, and living Group’s Values and Code of Ethics
- KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Develop & monitor a comprehensive industrial hygiene program as per company standard & guidelines To Undertake sampling and measurement of potential occupational hazards Prepare written technical reports with recommendations for corrective actions to control hazards Identified and evaluated exposure to a variety of chemical, physical and biological hazards Conduct health program to recognize, eliminate and control occupational health hazards and diseases Conduct survey & evaluation of exposure to noise Gather and interpret data from sampling chemical, physical and biological stresses Perform surveys involving indoor air quality Coordinate medical surveillance programs require to monitor the health status of employees Conducted briefings on a variety of industrial hygiene and environment health programs Assist other departments in preparation of HSE related procedures, SOPs, forms etc. Handle all industrial hygiene and environmental health program areas. Resolved issues that impact health and well-being of the workforce To Ensure interpretation of new and revised occupational health & hygiene legislation To Write and update HSE procedures and reports To Work with the company medical adviser, management, safety professionals & workforce to achieve occupational health & hygiene targets Assist HOD in reporting of data on HSE as per site, Group and Statutory requirements. Organizing and conducting HSE related meetings, training / awareness programs including execution of mock drill. Assisting HOD for vendor selection / development for HSE related matters.
