Education / Experience
- Bachelor degree in Engineering / Science /Technology- Minimum 1 to 3 years of relevant field, preferably in chemical industry

To assist in maintaining and strengthening the HSE system of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical functions at the Ankleshwar site. Particularly, focus Environment & waste water Management, regulatory compliance living Group’s Values and Code of Ethics
- KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Updating, monitoring and coordinating various environment protection / compliance related data with agencies like AEPS, ETL, BEIL, BEAIL, ETP, BCSL, etc.
- Assisting HOD in ensuring that necessary consents / licenses / permissions pertaining to EHS related legislations from regulatory authorities are obtained and to provide update on regulations on Health Safety and Environment to HODs.
- Assisting and coordinating HOD in HSE related matters with DPMC and GIDC fire station.
- Continually monitor, analyze and minimize environmental impact to reduce Environmental Burden of the site by carrying out plant round, inspection, and assisting HODs in implementation of corrective actions on the shop floor.
- To support HODs in evaluation of efficient and cost effective waste disposal technology. To monitor emission and waste disposal cost.
- As and when required, carry out treatability studies of effluent and suggesting alternative methods for the treatment with internal / external resources in coordination with respective HODs.
- Participating in ‘on site and off site emergency plan’ and guiding the concerned functions in implementing the same, including Environmental aspect.
- Maintaining and updating documentation pertaining to HSE, ISO 14001 and EMS for SIL, Ankleshwar.
- Monitoring, Reviewing and strengthening HSE system to mitigate potential risks.
- Assisting HODs for HSE related accident / incident prevention, investigation, updating data and statistics.
- Checking and issuing various Safety permits.
- Assist HOD in reporting of data on HSE as per site, Group and Statutory requirements. Coordinating and Monitoring of stack and ambient air quality, treatment of effluent and disposal of hazardous wastes as per regulatory requirements.
- Assisting HOD for vendor selection / development for HSE related matters
