Roles and Responsibilities:

- **Machine Operation**:

- Set up and operate band saw machines to cut metal, wood, or other materials according to specifications.
- Adjust machine settings such as blade speed, tension, and feed rate for optimal performance.
- **Blueprint and Specification Interpretation**:

- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and cutting instructions to determine material dimensions and cutting angles.
- Verify measurements and align materials for precision cutting.
- **Material Preparation**:

- Load and position materials on the band saw table securely to ensure accurate cuts.
- Mark materials with cutting lines or reference points as needed.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Inspect cuts to ensure accuracy, smoothness, and adherence to specifications.
- Perform quality checks on finished pieces to detect defects or irregularities.
- **Maintenance and Blade Care**:

- Perform routine maintenance on the band saw, including cleaning, lubrication, and blade replacement.
- Ensure the band saw blades are sharp and properly aligned to minimize wear and tear.
- **Safety Compliance**:

- Follow workplace safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ensure safe handling of materials and maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- **Production Documentation**:

- Record cutting data, material usage, and completed tasks in production logs.
- Communicate progress or delays to the supervisor or production team.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Monitor material stock levels and inform supervisors of shortages or additional requirements.
- Assist in the organization and storage of raw materials and finished products.
- **Collaboration and Teamwork**:

- Coordinate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production deadlines.
- Provide assistance to other operators or departments when necessary.
- **Troubleshooting**:

- Identify and resolve minor mechanical issues with the band saw.
- Notify maintenance teams of major machine malfunctions for prompt repair.

Skills and Qualifications:

- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in operating band saw machines and adjusting settings.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong focus on precision and accuracy in cutting operations.
- **Physical Stamina**: Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and stand for long periods.
- **Problem-Solving**: Capability to troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues independently.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine operation role is preferred.
- **Safety Awareness**: Understanding of workplace safety procedures and protocols.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
