Edge Banding Machine Operator

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate automatic and semi-automatic edge banding machines as per production schedules.
- Set up machine parameters such as temperature, speed, and pressure based on panel size and material.
- Load panels and edge banding material correctly and monitor the process during operation.
- Ensure proper bonding of edge tape to MDF/plywood/particle board panels without damage or misalignment.
- Inspect finished panels for quality, trimming accuracy, and smooth finish.
- Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of the edge banding machine.
- Report any mechanical or material issues to the supervisor for quick resolution.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Coordinate with the production team for timely output.

**Skills & Requirements**:

- Minimum 1 year of experience operating edge banding machines in a furniture or woodworking unit.
- Familiarity with various edge band materials (PVC, ABS, veneer, etc.) and panel types.
- Basic troubleshooting knowledge for edge banding machine operations.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality finishing.
- Ability to read measurements and handle tools efficiently.
- Team player with a positive attitude and work discipline.

**Educational Qualification**:

- ITI / Diploma in Woodworking / Furniture Technology or equivalent technical field preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: From ₹35,000.00 per month
