The Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, equipment, and services required for construction projects. This role involves coordinating with vendors, ensuring cost-effective procurement, and maintaining quality standards while adhering to company policies and project timelines.

**Key Responsibilities:1. Procurement & Sourcing**:

- Identify and evaluate suppliers/vendors for construction materials, equipment, and services.
- Obtain competitive quotations, negotiate pricing, and finalize purchase orders.
- Ensure timely procurement of required materials without delays in project execution.

**2. Vendor Management**:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Assess vendor performance based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
- Maintain an updated vendor database for different categories of materials.

**3. Cost Control & Negotiation**:

- Analyze market trends and pricing fluctuations of construction materials.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable payment terms.
- Ensure procurement aligns with project budgets and cost-control measures.

**4. Inventory & Logistics Coordination**:

- Coordinate with the site team to track material requirements.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure optimal inventory management.
- Arrange transportation and logistics for timely delivery of materials to the site.

**5. Documentation & Compliance**:

- Prepare and maintain purchase orders, invoices, and contracts.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal regulations.
- Maintain proper records of transactions and purchase reports.

**6. Coordination with Internal Teams**:

- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to understand material requirements.
- Address any supply chain issues affecting project timelines.

**7. Quality Assurance**:

- Ensure that materials meet required specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with the quality control team for inspections and approvals.

**Skills & Qualifications:Educational Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

**Experience**:

- 2-5 years of experience in procurement within the construction industry.

**Key Skills**:

- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of construction materials, market pricing, and supplier networks.
