Ashland has an exciting opportunity for an “ Auditor I - IT “ to join our International Specialty Products India Pvt Ltd (Affiliated to Ashland Inc) business at our Hyderabad, IN. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Audit function. This position will report to IT Audit Supervisor.
- As a Senior IT Auditor, you will be leading audit projects from start to finish, which includes identifying and assessing project risks and controls, developing audit programs, performing audit work, and reporting agreed-upon results to management and other stakeholders.
- Project responsibilities include the following:

- Review General Computing Controls to ensure that IT processes and systems comply with leading practices and/or applicable regulations and standards.

Profile

In order to be qualified for this role, you _must possess_ the following:

- Two - five plus years of experience in public accounting and/or internal auditing; IT background/experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Information Systems or Technology; MBA a plus.
- Ability to influence and foster strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to clearly and concisely present complex concepts in both oral and written format required.
- Experience executing integrated projects between operational/financial and IT audits.
- Experience with information systems, compliance, financial or operational auditing a plus.
- Knowledge of the NIST and COBIT frameworks required.
- Knowledge of cyber and physical security techniques required.
- Strong attention to detail with outstanding problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well in a dynamic, result-driven team environment.
- Ability to travel approximately 20%; this includes global travel.
- CA, CISA or CIA or in process of obtaining certification.
- Fluent in English, both in writing and verbal.
- SAP and Microsoft Office required. Experience with commercial data analytic and visualization tools, such as ACL and Tableau preferred.
