**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled ECE Lab Technician to support the operations of the Electronics and Communication Engineering laboratories. The technician will assist faculty and students with experiments, maintain lab equipment, ensure safety compliance, and help facilitate a smooth lab experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set up and maintain lab equipment and components for ECE lab sessions.
- Assist faculty and students during practical sessions.
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic instruments and systems.
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of lab tools, components, and instruments.
- Ensure labs are clean, safe, and organized.
- Calibrate and test instruments to ensure proper functionality.
- Support the development of new experiments and lab manuals.
- Maintain records of lab activities, student attendance, and equipment usage.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols in the lab environment.
- Assist in procurement and documentation of lab supplies and equipment.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a technical/laboratory role (preferred).
- Knowledge of analog and digital electronics, communication systems, microcontrollers, and embedded systems.
- Experience with lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, multimeters, and soldering tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Basic programming knowledge (e.g., Arduino, MATLAB, or VHDL) is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

**Working Conditions**:

- Lab environment with occasional lifting or moving of equipment.
- Interaction with students and faculty on a daily basis.
- May require extended hours during lab setup, exams, or special projects.
