**Job Summary**:
The Infection Control Nurse will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and evaluating infection control practices across the hospital to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement, and monitor infection prevention and control (IPC) policies and protocols.
- Conduct regular surveillance of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs).
- Train and educate hospital staff on infection prevention practices and protocols.
- Audit infection control practices and ensure compliance with national and hospital guidelines.
- Investigate and manage infection outbreaks in coordination with clinical teams.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date infection control records and reports.
- Collaborate with departments to ensure environmental cleanliness and safe clinical practices.
- Participate in infection control committee meetings and provide relevant inputs.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Certification in Infection Control.
- Minimum 2-5 years of prior experience as an Infection Control Nurse or in a similar role.
- Good understanding of hospital infection control protocols and regulatory standards.

**Skills Required**:

- Strong observational and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Attention to detail and high level of integrity.
