**Job Summary**: The PYP (Primary Years Programme) Assistant Teacher plays a crucial role in supporting the implementation of the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum in the primary classroom. The assistant teacher works closely with the lead teacher to create a stimulating and engaging learning environment that promotes inquiry-based learning and holistic student development.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Classroom Support**:

- Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing IB PYP-aligned lessons and activities.
- Support students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
- Help maintain an organized, safe, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Assist in setting up and managing learning centers and materials.
- **Student Engagement and Development**:

- Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom culture.
- Encourage students to develop independence, confidence, and social skills.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher.
- Support differentiated instruction to meet diverse student needs.
- **Assessment and Record-Keeping**:

- Observe and document student learning and behavior.
- Assist in preparing student portfolios, reports, and other assessment materials.
- Support the teacher in conducting formative and summative assessments.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:

- Work collaboratively with the classroom teacher, specialists, and support staff.
- Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents as needed.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.
- **Classroom Management and Supervision**:

- Assist in managing student behavior following IB PYP principles and school policies.
- Supervise students during recess, lunch, field trips, and other school activities.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
- **Professional Development and Growth**:

- Engage in professional learning opportunities related to the IB PYP framework.
- Stay updated with best practices in early childhood and primary education.
- Be open to receiving feedback and continuously improving teaching practices.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift

**Education**:
