Pyp Coodinator

Key Responsibilities1. Curriculum Leadership
- Oversee the development and implementation of the Programme of Inquiry (POI), ensuring alignment across grade levels.
- Guide teachers in planning, assessing, and documenting units of inquiry, adhering to IB standards and practices.

2. Professional Development
- Organize and lead professional development sessions to deepen teachers' understanding of the PYP framework.
- Mentor new teachers, providing induction into the PYP philosophy and practices.
- Encourage collaborative planning and reflection among staff to promote continuous improvement.

3. Communication and Collaboration
- Serve as the liaison between the school and the IB organization, ensuring compliance with IB requirements and facilitating authorization and evaluation processes.
- Communicate PYP developments to all stakeholders, including staff, parents, and the wider school community.
- Coordinate parent workshops and information sessions to foster understanding and support for the PYP.

4. Assessment and Evaluation
- Support teachers in developing and implementing effective assessment strategies that align with the PYP philosophy.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the PYP implementation, using data to inform decision-making and improvements.

5. Resource Management
- Ensure that teaching materials and resources support the PYP framework and are accessible to staff.
- Maintain documentation related to the PYP, including curriculum guides, assessment records, and communication with the IB.

Qualifications and Experience
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field; a Master’s degree is often preferred.
- **Experience**: Minimum of three years of teaching experience, preferably within an IB PYP setting.
- **Skills**: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills; proficiency in curriculum development and assessment; ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
