**Property Treaty Underwriter**:
**Location**
Mumbai, India

Ensuring underwriting excellence in property treaty department, enhancing property team members' overall technical level; support business generation for targeted segments; proactively contribute to Munich Re Greater China's strategy of innovative growth.

Your interface would be: Client Management, Underwriting, Claims and Technical Accounting, etc.

Your job
- Responsible for treaty pricing in the pricing platform
- Involved in Cat modelling
- Post renewal treaty maintenance in coordination with the finance team
- Finalize treaty slip wordings and underwrite programs as per MR underwriting guidelines
- Preparing PPT for various internal and external presentations
- Data crunching/analysis of various client information deck, quarterly performance to update the market summary/statistics, peer to peer comparison, market benchmarking, etc
- Regular and consistent Client/broker interaction
- Adhoc activities - liaise with claims, fac underwriters, client managers periodically

**Profile**:
**Capability & Experience**

**Essential**:

- 10-15 years of reinsurance and/or actuarial experience with thorough understanding of reinsurance underwriting (pricing, wording as well as structuring).
- Good understanding of reinsurance purchasing motivations of direct insurers
- Good communication skills & a team player.

**Good to Have**: MS access, Macro, power BI, CAT modelling experience, actuarial experience

**Qualifications**
- Graduate/Master in Science,
- Certification: Any insurance/underwriting/actuarial certification will be advantageous
