**Job Title - **Senior Oracle Developer - Listed Derivative Clearing (AVP)

**Location
- **India, Pune

**Your key responsibilities**

As a Oracle Engineer, this person will be responsible for delivering new/incremental functionality to technology platforms underpinning the business, both driven through mandated/regulatory CCP activity and internal or client business requirements.

**Application Development & Product Engineering (100%)**
- Full life-cycle of development tasks, starting from specification and design to successful implementation and level 3 production support:

- Design and develop new functionality
- Working with BAs on functional and non-functional requirements, technical analysis and design
- Coding and testing, reviewing other team member’s changes
- Document business and functional requirements, design decisions and API
- Co-working with QA team on test automation of new and existing functionality
- Contribute to the definition of the future state of the system architecture
- When product and architecture experience gained, mentor and direct more junior developers

**Primary Working Relationships**
- Global Product Owners and Functional Analysts
- Global Application Dev & Support Teams (+ for upstream/downstream)

**Your skills and experience**
- 5+ years’ experience as an Oracle Developer in an Investment Banking and/or Retail Finance environment.
- Extensive experience in complex infrastructure and enterprise software platform development.
- Excellent SQL knowledge and expousure to Java.
- Excellent Unix/Linux knowledge and hands-on experience.
- Experience implementing fault-tolerant / load-balancing solutions
- Understanding of networking and messaging.
- Demonstrable experience and knowledge in OTC (Credit and Rates) Derivative products (+ Other Derivatives Products - Listed, FX advantageous)
- Working knowledge of OTC Clearing from a House and Clearing Broker perspective and Fixed Income Prime Brokerage
- Experience in conceptualization and solution definition
- Adaptable (depending on project) to Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid SDLC models
- Good communication, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail, ability to work with deadlines
- Strong problem solving and analysis skills (an Engineering mind-set)
- Proactive, delivery orientated approach
- Ability to take direction as needed as well as being able to work independently

- Knowledge of futures and options systems not expected but would be beneficial.
- Experience of any relevant Deutsche Bank standards (e.g. lifecycle management framework) beneficial.
