Roles And Responsibilities:As a database administrator, your primary responsibilities will include:Installation, configuration, upgrade and operational support of oracle DatabasesDeploy database HA technologies- Dataguard, RAC cluster etc

Oracle database administration/operational activities - configuration, patch management, monitoring, backup, database cloning, upgrades, dr drills etc.perform backup/recovery – RMAN.Monitors alerts of user sessions, concurrent processes, table extents and locks in production environment. Handling space related issues on tablespaces, storage related issues. Perfrom Export/Import backup of database using oracle utilities.

Oracle Active Data Guard – Implementation, troubleshooting. Install Oracle Client and troubleshooting

Performance tuning, optimization and troubleshooting Preferred Technical Skills:Experience on Oracle 11g/12c/19c database - installation, configuration, upgrade and operational support. Proficiency in RAC (Real Application Cluster)/Dataguard/ ASM (Automatic Storage Management) installation and operations. Experience in oracle database administration/operational activities - configuration, patch management, monitoring, backup, database cloning, upgrades, dr drills etc.

Experience in handling space related issues on tablespaces, storage related issues. Working knowledge of UNIX & Linux Environments. Install Oracle Client and troubleshooting

Performance tuning, optimization and troubleshooting

Additional skills - Golden gate

Experience with any additional database platforms (Ex: MySQL, PostGress SQL, etc) will be an added advantage
