PfC is designed to enhance immigrant readiness for economic and social integration. Our pre-arrival services, delivered worldwide, provide prospective Economic Class (Federal and Provincial Skilled Workers) and Family Class immigrants and their dependents with Information & Orientation (I&O) and Needs Assessment, Assets, Referrals services (NAARS). Services are provided in English in-person and online based out of field offices in India and the Philippines and in both English and French by the Online Global Team.
PfC program’s network of partners and stakeholders includes immigrant-serving organizations, industry sector councils, regulatory bodies, credential-assessment agencies, academics, IRCC staff at headquarters and overseas, and post-secondary institutions.
Reporting to the India Regional Manager, the full-time facilitators are responsible for taking part in, and, in some instances, leading service delivery in English, both in-person to clients based in India and online to clients located from anywhere in the world.
PfC Client Services include:
1. Group Orientation (GO):
An interactive presentation with an overview of Canadian demographics, culture and economy, the Canadian workplace, and settlement in Canada. GO sessions are delivered in-person or online in both full-day and half-day formats.
2. Personalized Planning Session:
An individual 60-minute planning session, in-person or online, with a PfC facilitator. Sessions are specific to the client’s settlement priorities and career plans.
3. Connections to advisors at Canadian organizations (Connections):
PfC clients are referred to Canada-based partner organizations that provide clients with tailored and detailed settlement and employment support, and/or onward referrals to other organizations for more specialized services and support, based on their province of destination.

The facilitators are expected to contribute to the achievement of PfC’s goals of helping immigrants make informed decisions, begin the settlement process while still abroad, and arrive in Canada better prepared to integrate into Canadian society.
PfC promotes open, supportive, agile and client-focused culture. PfC team members are to demonstrate integrity and a high level of intercultural competence, respond to client needs in a timely, professional and courteous manner and work collaboratively with other team members to achieve program goals. Team members require the ability to collaborate both virtually and in person and with PfC team members located in other time zones.
The position’s responsibilities include some data entry, facilitating in-person and online orientation sessions with groups of up to 30 clients, one-on-one personal planning sessions, research on occupations and settlement issues in Canada, use of organization-specific software tools, and cooperation with colleagues in Asia, Europe, and Canada. Flexibility is required.
This position requires day-to-day handling of clients’ personal information. The incumbent will be expected to adhere to strict IT and privacy-and-security policies, and to take appropriate measures to safeguard client data, as well as computer equipment and access to systems.
