- Purpose of Job:

- Responsible for implementing all database related technology solutions for the organisation’s digital journey with key focus on AWS platform. Assist with migration of existing On Premise data store to AWS Cloud. Work with internal IT teams and vendors to craft highly-scalable, flexible, and resilient database architectures that address our organisation’ business problems. Work towards cost optimisation initiatives for all data solutions and assist with product/project specific migrations for all on premise solutions
- Job Responsibilities:
- Create, Upgrade, Monitor, Backup & Restore Databases across different environments (UAT, STAGING, LIVE, REPORTING etc.)
- Perform DB Maintenance activities for On Premise and AWS instances of Databases
- Assist with migrating and transforming on-premise database solutions to the cloud and vice-versa
- Responsible for environment upkeep, database infrastructure monitoring and user provisioning
- Key Skills:

- Key Skills:

- Experience developing SQLs, Stored Procedures, Functions and DB performance tuning across multiple database products - Preferred
- Experience working on one or more AWS specific databases (Aurora, RDS, DynamoDB, DocumentDB, ElastiCache etc.) - Preferred
- Experience working on Lending, Banking & Payment solutions, Mobile Apps, Web Apps, Peripheral solutions on AWS - Preferred

Mandatory:
- Thorough understanding of Linux/Windows, RDBMS, NoSQLs - Mandatory
- Hands-on experience with Linux, PostgreSQL/MySQL/MS SQL Server and AWS specific DB implementations - Mandatory
- Experience working on On Premise Data centre, AWS Cloud, Data Migration Projects

**Experience**:

- Total experience varying from 3 - 5 years
- Minimum 1 years’ experience working with Banks/NBFCs/Fintech companies

- Qualification:

- Graduate (Engg.) in IT, CS, from a recognized university
- Any DB Certification - Preferred
