Kitchen Helper

**Job Title**: Kitchen Staff**Department**: Food & Beverage / Kitchen**Reports To**: Head Chef / Kitchen Supervisor**Job Summary**:
The Kitchen Staff is responsible for assisting in food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring efficient kitchen operations. They support chefs and cooks in delivering high-quality meals while adhering to hygiene and safety standards.

**Key Responsibilities:Food Preparation**:

- Assist in chopping, peeling, cutting, and preparing ingredients.
- Follow recipes and instructions given by chefs.
- Assist in basic cooking tasks like frying, boiling, and grilling as required.
- Ensure timely preparation of food items to meet service demands.

**Kitchen Operations & Maintenance**:

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Store food supplies properly and monitor stock levels.
- Dispose of waste appropriately and follow recycling guidelines.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations.

**Support to Kitchen Team**:

- Assist chefs and other kitchen staff during peak hours.
- Plate and garnish food as per presentation guidelines.
- Receive and store kitchen deliveries following FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
- Ensure smooth workflow in the kitchen by performing tasks efficiently.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a kitchen environment (preferred but not mandatory).
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for long hours and lift heavy items.

**Work Environment**:

- Fast-paced kitchen setting with exposure to heat and food odors.
- Shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹13,000.00 per month
