**Solid Surface Fabricator (Jamaica onsite)**

**Overview**:
The Solid Surface Fabricator is responsible for fabricating and installing solid surface materials such as countertops, sinks, and other customized products. This role involves precise measurement, cutting, shaping, sanding, and finishing of solid surface materials, ensuring quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Fabrication and Assembly**:

- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders.
- Measure, cut, and shape solid surface materials using tools such as saws, routers, and sanders.
- Assemble components to meet specifications and design requirements.

**2. Material Handling**:

- Select, inspect, and prepare materials for fabrication.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of solid surface materials to prevent damage.

**3. Finishing and Installation**:

- Sand and polish surfaces to achieve a smooth, high-quality finish.
- Install fabricated items at job sites, ensuring precise fit and finish.

**4. Quality Assurance**:

- Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality.
- Make necessary adjustments or repairs to meet quality standards.

**5. Safety and Maintenance**:

- Adhere to all workplace safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and the work area regularly.

**6.Collaboration**:

- Work closely with designers, project managers, and other team members to achieve project goals.
- Communicate effectively regarding project progress and any issues or adjustments.

**Qualifications**:
1. Education and Experience:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in solid surface fabrication or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of fabrication tools and techniques.

**2. Skills**:

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, including routers, saws, and sanders.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.

**3. Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift and move heavy materials (50+ pounds).
- Comfortable standing, bending, and working for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precise fabrication work.

**4. Other Attributes**:

- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines.

**Work Environment**:
The role may involve working in a fabrication shop and on job sites. Conditions may include exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
