**Job Title: Duct Fabricator**

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:

- **Fabrication**:

- Measure, cut, and bend sheet metal to form ductwork and fittings using hand and power tools.
- Follow blueprints, design specifications, and written instructions to create duct systems.
- Assemble and secure duct components using welding, bolting, and riveting techniques.
- **Installation**:

- Install fabricated ductwork in buildings according to project specifications and building codes.
- Ensure proper alignment and secure connections of ducts to HVAC units and other components.
- Seal joints and seams with appropriate materials to prevent air leaks.
- **Quality Control**:

- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
- Make necessary adjustments or repairs to ensure duct systems meet standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- **Maintenance and Repairs**:

- Perform routine maintenance on fabrication equipment and tools.
- Troubleshoot and repair damaged or malfunctioning ductwork as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a duct fabricator or similar role in the HVAC industry.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and ductwork fabrication techniques.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environments.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certification in HVAC or sheet metal fabrication.
