**Job Summary**:
**The Academic Counselor is responsible for providing comprehensive academic advising to students to support their academic, career, and personal development. This role involves guiding students in course selection, understanding program requirements, identifying academic goals, and addressing academic challenges. The counsellor serves as a resource for students in navigating institutional policies and procedures and fosters a positive academic experience.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Academic Advising**:

- **Provide one-on-one academic counselling to students regarding course selections, academic plans, and graduation requirements.**:

- **Advise students on institutional policies, procedures, and academic deadlines.**:

- **Program Planning**:

- **Assist with the registration process, including course planning and scheduling to ensure timely graduation.**:

- **Evaluate transfer credits, academic progress, and eligibility for academic honors or special programs.**:

- **Collaborative Activities**:

- **Work with faculty, departments, and administrative staff to enhance student success and retention initiatives.**:

- **Participate in the development and implementation of workshops, orientations, and other academic support programs.**

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- **Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.**:

- **Experience**:

- **0-1 years of experience in academic advising, counselling, or a related educational support role.**
- **Skills**:

- **Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with a diverse student population.**:

- **Proficiency in using student information systems, databases, excel.**:

- **Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Higher Secondary(12th Pass) (preferred)

**Experience**:
