Process Technology Expert

**Task Description**:
**General**
- Leading a core team of process engineering & co-operation with sales team, sub suppliers, partner companies and internal stakeholders
- Cooperation and project coordination across sites (Global Networking)
- Harmonization of global business processes and workflows
- Coordination and preparation of platform documents/templates (e.g. calculation tool, PID templates) to harmonize the workflows
- Monitoring and supervising of project milestones during quotation and project execution
- Support coordination URS incl. URS deviation list
- Responsible for all review during preparation of concept, basic and detail design documents
- PFD, PID, line sizing, Piping Spec, Agitator data sheets, sparger datasheets etc.)
- Technical support of manufacturing process related to process design.
- Support and review of procedural dimensioning and design (mechanical and logical) of biopharmaceutical systems
- You will evaluate customer requirements for feasibility and profitability in all project phases.
- Focus on the development of process and system solutions in the field of upstream and downstream processing.
- Give technical advice to internal and external stakeholders.
- Create technical solutions in offers close coordination with our customers and sales.
- Determine costs and carry out the profitability check of projects.
- Be a central point of contact in international projects with multicultural teams.
- Working closely with Project Managers and Design Engineers
- ** Technical Sales Support**
- Technical feasibility studies during lead qualification phase
- Technical customer meetings.
- Support during technical evaluation/concept phase with internal and external customers
- ** Project Execution (Execution of Concept - & Basic Design)**
- Basic Design of Integrated Solutions projects and package units
- Support of FAT / SAT activities with expert knowledge and expertise
- Technical customer meetings
- Organization, moderating and leading of working groups, preparation of operating procedures

**What will convince us**:

- Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Biotechnology Engineering or related disciplines
- Previous Process Engineering experience within biotechnology industry ideally Bioreactors, Fermenters, Crossflow systems & chromatography.
- Understanding of downstream and upstream processes would be helpful
- Experience in working with customers and sales team to create cost quotations
- Experience in designing of process & utilities - Preparation of PFD’s, P&ID’s, equipment sizing calculations
- Business fluent English skills and a willingness to travel nationally and internationally |approx. 10%|.
- Strong communication skills
