**4 AM to 1 PM (Oct - March), 5 AM to 2 PM (Apr - Sep) - Monday to Friday**
**7:30 AM to 11:30 AM Saturdays**
**Holidays: We observe holidays on Australian National Holidays and work is BAU during Indian Holidays with flexibility of WFH for Indian Holidays**
**Responsibilities**:
- Process invoices accurately and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Reconcile payments received against invoices submitted and resolve any discrepancies.
- Track funding utilization and ensure timely billing and collection activities.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of transactions.
- Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements and other statutory reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage general ledger accounts.
- Develop and maintain systems for tracking project costs and budgets.
- Prepare detailed cost reports and analyze variances to assist in budget control.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets for projects.
- Analyze financial performance and identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Identify and implement tools and systems to enhance financial processes and automate manual tasks.
- Develop and maintain financial reporting templates.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and support audit activities.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive financial records.
- Prepare ad hoc financial reports as required.
- Develop and issue tenders for construction materials and services
- Evaluate quotes from suppliers and recommend preferred vendors
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers
- Manage the procurement process for construction materials
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role, handling comprehensive accounting responsibilities.
- Excellent hands-on experience working with MS Excel and well-versed with various accounting and reporting related formulas.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficient in accounting software, preferably Xero.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
