**JOB DESCRIPTION**
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Valuations Control technology group at JPMorgan. In this business-facing technology support role, you will be at the forefront of supporting technology solutions for various products covered within both locally and globally.

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing Business facing technology and Operations support across the Asia Pacific region.
- Working within a follow-the-sun support model with global counterparts
- Managing production technology incidents to resolution, ensuring timely engagement, escalation and effective communication to business, technology and vendor partners
- Performing post incident analysis, identifying, tracking and implementing preventative measures
- Act as a key contributor in the continued development of tools, frameworks & techniques to improve productivity and quality of the production support, adopting SRE principles to manage and support the environment
- Develop and support automation tooling to improve the reliability of the platform and to increase the productivity of the team Participates in triaging, examining, diagnosing, and resolving incidents and work with others to solve problems at their root

**Required qualifications, capabilities and skills**:

- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience in Application support / Production management.
- Hands - on experience in scripting languages such as: Python, Linux/UNIX shell
- Exposure to Database: Oracle/MS-SQL, PostgreSQL
- A proven track record of Production Application Support
- Develop and use monitoring dashboards for day-to-day support, generate service KPIs, report on service stability & performance and log & message bus monitoring
- Experience in Disaster Recovery planning and test execution
- A proven track record of running Incident & Problem Management calls for business impacting outages, performing post incident analysis, identifying & implementing preventative measures and lessons learned following outages
- Hands-on experience in continuous integration and continuous delivery tools like Jenkins, GitLab.
- Hands - on experience in Telemetry & Application Performance monitoring tools such as: ITRS Geneos, Splunk, App Dynamics, Dynatrace, Grafana, Open telemetry.
- Team player that works well with others and can easily adapt to constant changing and dynamic environments
- Ability to code in at least one programming language
- Ability to work in a large, collaborative team and demonstrates the willingness to vocalize ideas with peers and managers
- Eagerness to participate in learning opportunities to enhance one’s effectiveness in executing day-to-day project activities

**Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills**:

- AWS experience in core AWS services such as: EC2, S3, lambda, ECS, EKS, Cloudwatch (& DataDog)
- Experience in Databricks and Terraform is a plus.
- General knowledge of financial services industry.
