**Job Overview**:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Garment Merchandiser to join our team. The Garment Merchandiser will play a pivotal role in coordinating and overseeing the production of our garments from concept to delivery. This position requires a deep understanding of the fashion industry, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Product Development**: Collaborate with designers and product development teams to transform design concepts into finished garments. Ensure that product specifications, including materials, colors, and sizes, are accurately communicated to suppliers.

**Supplier Management**: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate terms and pricing, and establish strong relationships with key partners. Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality and timely delivery.

**Order Management**: Create and manage production orders, including tracking and monitoring production progress, inventory levels, and delivery schedules. Take proactive steps to resolve any production delays or quality issues.

**Cost Analysis**: Conduct cost analysis and price negotiations to optimize production costs while maintaining product quality and profitability.

**Quality Control**: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control standards throughout the production process. Inspect and approve samples and finished products to ensure they meet quality and design standards.

**Market Research**: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market demands, and competitor activities. Provide insights and recommendations to support product development and marketing strategies.

**Forecasting**: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop sales forecasts and ensure that production aligns with demand.

**Communication**: Maintain open and clear communication with cross-functional teams, including designers, production teams, sales, and marketing. Provide regular updates on production status and address any issues promptly.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Garment Merchandiser or in a similar role within the fashion industry.
- Strong knowledge of garment production processes, materials, and quality standards.
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and garment management software
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
