Job Title: Operations Executive - Senior Living
Location: Bengaluru
Job Summary:
The Operations Executive in a senior living facility is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations to ensure a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment for all residents. This role requires a blend of operational management, customer service, and leadership skills to maintain high standards of care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Facility Management:
Oversee the maintenance, cleanliness, and safety of the facility, including common areas, residential units, and outdoor spaces.
Coordinate with maintenance and housekeeping teams to ensure timely repairs and upkeep.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
Resident Experience:
Ensure a high level of resident satisfaction by addressing their needs, concerns, and preferences.
Organize and oversee recreational and social activities to enhance the quality of life for residents.
Act as a point of contact for residents and their families, providing updates and addressing any concerns.
Staff Management:
Assist in the recruitment, training, and supervision of staff, including caregivers, housekeeping, and administrative personnel.
Schedule and manage shifts to ensure adequate staffing levels at all times.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and support to staff.
Operational Efficiency:
Monitor and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining quality standards.
Implement and improve operational processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Manage inventory and procurement of supplies, ensuring availability and cost control.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to senior living operations.
Maintain accurate records and documentation, including resident files, staff records, and compliance reports.
Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans and conduct regular drills.
Customer Relations:
Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and the community.
Address and resolve any complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
Promote the facility within the community to attract new residents and enhance the facility's reputation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to senior living facilities.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with facility management software.
Preferred Skills:
Certification in Senior Living Management or Healthcare Administration.
Experience with budget management and financial reporting.
Crisis management and problem-solving abilities.
Working Conditions:
May require evening, weekend, and holiday work.
Must be able to respond to emergencies on a 24/7 basis.
