Multi Cuisine Chef

A multi-cuisine Commis Chef assists senior chefs in preparing and cooking dishes from various international cuisines, ensuring high-quality food presentation while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This role involves a range of tasks from basic food preparation like chopping vegetables and seasoning meats to plating dishes according to the instructions of a Chef de Partie.
**Responsibilities**:
- Food Preparation: Washing, peeling, chopping, and cutting vegetables, fruits, and meats; preparing basic dishes like salads and sauces.
- Assisting Senior Chefs: Following instructions from the Chef de Partie or Head Chef, preparing dishes according to recipes, and ensuring consistent quality.
- Hygiene and Safety: Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations, and disposing of expired or spoiled food.
- Presentation: Plating dishes according to instructions, ensuring proper portion sizes and food presentation.
- Communication: Communicating effectively with senior chefs and other kitchen staff.
Key Skills:
- Culinary Skills: Basic knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and different cuisines.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and maintain a clean workspace.
- Hygiene and Safety Awareness: Understanding and adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Teamwork: Working collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
