**Job Summary**:
We are hiring for Hardware & Networking Technical Assistant to join our team. Assisting with Senior and Ensure network security and connectivity. Operate master consoles in order to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, coordinate computer network access and use, and test for weaknesses. Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords. Resolve problems reported by the end-user.

**Purpose**
Maintain hardware and network infrastructure through hands-on cleaning, LAN and WAN verification, Ethernet troubleshooting and port configuration.

**Responsibilities**

**System & Hardware Maintenance**
- Clean and maintain PCs, servers, routers, switches, printers, and other electronic devices (daily cleaning, dust-free upkeep).
- Regular physical cleaning of all systems (wiping with a dry cloth).
- Inspect and check internal hardware (RAM, HDD, cables, etc.) with basic troubleshooting if issues arise.
- Ensure all systems are running smoothly every day.
- Power backup maintenance for storage devices, UPS systems, and security devices.
- Setup and configure new workstations for employees.
- Oversee the delivery and setup of new laptops.

**Networking & Connectivity**
- Inspect, secure, and label Ethernet cables and ports.
- Perform Cat6 cabling, crimping, IO port punching, patch panel organization.
- Test LAN connectivity with ping, trace route, and replace faulty cables.
- Diagnose WAN issues and verify internet uplinks.
- Confirm devices are connected to the correct LAN or WAN ports.
- Maintain LAN configurations and internet connectivity.
- Cisco L2/L3 switches configuration and maintenance.
- Cisco and Aruba enterprise routers configuration and maintenance.
- Wi-Fi and access point configuration and management.
- Domain control and VPN management.
- Firewall and security management.

**Server & Software**
- Local (in-house) server installation and maintenance.
- Software installation and configuration as per developer and technology requirements.
- Remote system management and configuration.

**Support & Coordination**
- Record maintenance work, label infrastructure, and report recurring issues.
- Coordinate with the team to resolve system or connectivity problems quickly.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and outages.
- Interact with clients to provide technical support as required.

**Office Services Management**
- Manage office landline services (responding to inquiries, troubleshooting, coordinating with providers).
- Handle physical mail and courier services, ensuring timely delivery and distribution.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Hands‑on experience in hardware upkeep and Ethernet networking
- Basic understanding of LAN, WAN principles and diagnostic tools
- Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, FTP, VPN, LAN/WAN
- Security & Monitoring: Norton Ghost, Wireshark, Nagios, Nessus, Symantec Endpoint Protection.
- Attention to detail and disciplined record‑keeping
- Operating Systems: Windows Server, Linux, Ubuntu, CentOS, Solaris
- Virtualization & Cloud Services: VMware, Hyper-V, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, OpenStack
- Clear communication and ability to escalate issues
