Security Architect

We are seeking an experienced hardware security architect/researcher responsible for designing, developing, and implementing secure hardware solutions for our advanced SoC platforms. As a hardware security architect in the Network and Edge group you will:

- Design and develop secure hardware architectures for SoC platforms.
- Evaluate and analyze hardware security features of SoCs.
- Develop and implement hardware security specifications and plans.
- Collaborate with design and development teams to integrate security measures into hardware designs.
- Conduct vulnerability and threat analysis of proposed and existing hardware architectures.
- Develop and implement strategies for hardware security testing and validation.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in hardware security.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team on hardware security issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of security into all phases of product development.

**Qualifications**:
Minimum Qualifications:

- B.Tech/ M.Tech degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
- 8+ years of relevant experience (5+ years in a security role).
- Deep understanding of hardware security principles and SoC architecture.
- Programming proficiency across languages: System Verilog, C/C++, Python/Perl scripting, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in an unstructured start-up like environment with mínimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a hardware security architect or similar role.
- Familiarity with hardware security vulnerabilities and mitigations.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to hardware security.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to be able to influence internal and external customers.
- Expertise in vulnerability research, exploit development and responsible disclosure.

**Working Model**:
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. **In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.**
