**Mental Wellness Counsellor - Job Description**

As a Counsellor, you will provide counselling services remotely, using various telecommunication tools, to individuals who require emotional support, guidance, and assistance.

1. **Remote Counselling**: Conduct counselling sessions with clients through telecommunication platforms such as video calls, phone calls, or online chat, ensuring a secure and confidential environment.

2. **Assessment and Intervention**: Evaluate clients' mental health concerns, emotional state, and specific challenges to determine appropriate strategies and interventions. Provide images of interventions through app-chat for better understanding.

3. **Develop Therapeutic Relationships**: Build a strong therapeutic alliance with clients by demonstrating empathy, active listening, and understanding, creating a safe and trusting environment for clients to express themselves.

4. **Conduct Counselling Sessions**: Utilize evidence-based counselling techniques and interventions to help clients explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, identify root causes of issues, and develop personalized coping strategies and goals.

5. **Maintain Documentation**: Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and relevant information related to counselling sessions.

6. **Adhere to Ethical Standards**: Uphold professional ethics and confidentiality standards, ensuring client privacy and protection of personal information.

**Qualifications**:
1. A bachelor's or master's degree in psychology, counselling, social work (medical & psychiatry, or a related field.

2. RCI license mandatory for clinical psychologists

3. Experience in tele-counselling is an added advantage

4. Proficiency in using telecommunication tools and platforms for remote counselling.

5. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple client cases effectively.
