**Dean of Institutional Quality Assurance and Accreditation (IQAC) in Academics**

Job Summary: The Dean of Institutional Quality Assurance and Accreditation (IQAC) in Academics is a leadership position responsible for overseeing and enhancing the academic quality and accreditation processes within an educational institution. This role requires a seasoned academic professional with a deep understanding of quality assurance standards, accreditation requirements, and a commitment to continuous improvement in academic programs and services.

Key Responsibilities:
**Quality Assurance: Develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems to ensure the continuous improvement of academic quality.**
**Monitor and evaluate academic programs to ensure they meet established standards and benchmarks.**
**Collaborate with faculty and department heads to assess and enhance teaching methodologies, curriculum design, and learning outcomes.**Develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems to ensure the continuous improvement of academic quality.

**Accreditation Management**:Lead the institution's accreditation processes and ensure compliance with relevant accrediting bodies and standards.
Prepare accreditation reports, documentation, and self-assessment materials in collaboration with various academic units.
Coordinate accreditation visits and liaise with external evaluators to facilitate a smooth accreditation process.

**Data Analysis and Reporting**:Utilize data analytics to assess and report on key performance indicators related to academic quality and accreditation.
Prepare and present regular reports to institutional leadership and accreditation agencies, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.

**Strategic Planning**:Contribute to the development of the institution's strategic plan with a focus on academic quality and accreditation goals.
Collaborate with academic departments to align their objectives with institutional and accreditation standards.

**Professional Development**:Facilitate professional development opportunities for faculty and staff on matters related to academic quality, assessment, and accreditation.
Stay informed about current trends and best practices in academic quality assurance and accreditation.

**Stakeholder Engagement**:Foster positive relationships with external accrediting agencies, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders involved in academic quality assurance.
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including faculty, students, and administrators, to promote a culture of continuous improvement.

**Compliance and Regulatory Affairs**:Ensure compliance with relevant local, regional, and national regulations related to academic programs and accreditation.
Stay abreast of changes in accreditation standards and update institutional policies and practices accordingly.

Qualifications:

- A doctoral degree in a relevant field.
- Extensive experience in academic leadership roles with a focus on quality assurance and accreditation.
- In-depth knowledge of accreditation processes and standards.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement in academic programs.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹59,219.37 - ₹143,588.24 per month
