This role will be responsible for incoming quality and manufacturing quality of plant operations.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Read & understand GKN standards, drawings, process sheets and customer requirements.
- Plan & conduct Audit of the documents like PFD, PFMEA, CP, work instructions, SOP’s, check lists, formats and get it corrected to meet the requirements specified in standards.
- Plan & Conduct audits to verify compliances of quality system requirements, process and product requirements, Poka-yoke, OJT & customer requirements and for verification of causes & actions of concerns (customer line/warranty/internal).
- Communicate audit findings & ensure closure of gaps against the quality system & customer requirements, standards, and process control plans, through regular meetings & follow up audits.
- Monitor trends in products & process parameters, communicate & report changes in trends by conducting regular meetings and ensure control by correcting the processes.
- Plan & Conduct supplier audits as in when required.
- Monitor supplier quality issues & PPM.
- Drive timely root cause analysis and corrective action implementation through execution of problem-solving tools like QIP, A3 etc.
- Drives improvement of PFMEA & uses PFMEA in problem solving to prevent re-occurrence.
- Drives Quality aspects of new Product/Process Development Inspection including:

- Prototype / PPAP Quality support activities
- Pre-launch past concern / FMEA review & action to prevent problems
- Customer Specific Quality adherence
- Product launch Quality review
- Component / Driveshaft safe launch
- Safe launch Concern Management
- Know How Transfer (Quality)
- **Essential Qualifications & Experience**: B.E. Mechanical and should have at least 5-7 years of experience in Quality function (Incoming & In-process)
- **Essential Competencies**
- Should be proficient in Core Tools, IATF 16949:2016 and QMS requirement
- Basic understanding of Safety OHSAS 18001/ ISO 45001 guidelines.
- Should have proficiency in MS Excel, MS Power Points.
- Should be competent to deal with suppliers with various commodities (Rubber, Sheet Metal, Machining)
