**About SVC Bank**:
SVC Co-operative Bank earlier known as The Shamrao Vithal Co-operative Bank Ltd. is more than 115 years old
Trusted Institution and is the 2nd largest Scheduled Urban Co-operative Bank by balance sheet. As a part of our
growth journey we are looking for Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) to be based in Mumbai reporting to the
Managing Director.

**Key Roles & Responsibilities**:
1. To conduct the assessment of the compliance risk and develop a risk-oriented activity plan for compliance

assessment. The activity plan has to be submitted to the Audit Committee of the Board for approval, and it
should be made available to the internal audit.

2. To examine the sustenance of the compliance as an integral part of the compliance testing and annual
compliance assessment exercise.

3. To ensure the compliance of supervisory observations made by RBI and or any other directions in both letter
and spirit in a time-bound and sustainable manner.

4. Monitoring and analysing areas of risk in the operation of the bank to ensure observance of the state and
federal laws.

5. Conducting audits to identify areas of non-compliance and initiate solutions to address identified risks.
6. Monitor and review all tools, methodologies, policies, procedures developed by the Compliance teams and

facilitator of approval by the Board.
7. To apprise the board as well as senior management on regulations, rules and standards, and any other further

developments.
8. To report promptly to the Board / Audit Committee of the Board/ Managing Director and CEO about any

major changes or observations related to the compliance risk.

**Experience & Skills Required: **
Chartered Accountant/Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree in Finance, Business or related field.
Age not more than 55 years.
Overall experience of at least 15 years in the banking or financial services, out of which minimum 5 years

shall be in the Audit / Finance / Compliance / Legal / Risk Management functions. Good understanding of
industry and risk management, knowledge of regulations, legal framework and sensitivity to supervisors’
expectations of supervisors.

No pending vigilance case or adverse observation from RBI.
