**Purpose of the Role**
- Developing and implementing quality activities, as well as overseeing the work of quality control personnel and other staff with respect to Incoming quality part of the value chain to achieve strategic operational goals

**Responsibilities & Accountabilities**
- Enabling achievement of quality targets by establishing and implementing stringent Incoming quality control activities
- Monitor critical quality metrics and parameters required to meet profitability and customer satisfaction targets
- Responsible for reduction of AFR and COPQ(Cost of Poor Quality)
- Ensure the highest quality output that meets customers' expectation in the most cost effective manner, through Incoming quality control activities along with action planning for identified gaps
- Lead customer components inspection, as and when required by the customer.
- Review the Non conformity closure activities, and devise actionable and track its closure
- Prepare the quality plan and quality report for NPD components and carried out 100% inspection.
- Lead resolution of assembly complaints and coordinate to take the CAPA with concerned departments.
- Monitor and validate special process
- Ensure implementation of Digital data capturing in critical resources for CTQ components.
- Coordinate with QA teams for maintenance & update of QMS ISO 9001 objectives & records and planning actions for gap analysis.
- Lead implementation of ACME projects & Assignments
- Ensure TQM step-1 KHO implementation and conduct a audit periodically
- Ensure adherence to business excellence polices and procedures in all activities related to the section
- Analyse quality data and identifying trends and areas for improvement for action planning to fill the gaps
- Prepare and present reports on quality control activities and results to the stakeholders, and advice on appropriate action to solve issues
- Coordinate with the automation team, to identify use cases, and drive automation initiatives within Incoming and In process QC
- Ensure updation and use of the latest technologies and tools for Incoming and In process quality control measurement
- Facilitate continuous learning and skilling across the section on essential functional and behavioural competencies
- Mentoring and managing a team of professionals to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Managing career aspirations and training needs of professionals within the section
- Monitor Sectional performance and identify areas of strengths and opportunities for development
- Review, Set, and track suitable targets and KPIs for the team to ensure effective performance and delivery
- Oversee the workflow and work assignments of the team to ensure effective collaboration among teams, team members and consistent, quality work
